When I started Impactt 25 years ago, my ambition was to put workers at the centre of our work, and I am delighted that we are now in a position to put our employees at the centre of our business. I am happy to announce that last week, we completed the paperwork to establish the Impactt Employee Ownership Trust as the majority shareholder in Impactt. This will create a sustainable ownership structure in keeping with the culture and values that have made Impactt so successful. I firmly believe that employee ownership not only fits with my own objectives but also secures Impactt’s independence and continues to provide security and employment for all our employees globally.
What about the management of Impactt?
Going forward, Michael Pennant-Jones, Consultancy Services Director and Robin Bishop, Commercial Director will become Directors of the Company and I will continue as Managing Director for the next period. Day-to-day operations will remain unchanged.
A vision towards future growth
This is an important step in achieving our dreams, fulfilling our aspirations as a company, and a sound business decision to secure a sustainable future. We will continue to lead with a focus on worker voice and putting every person that works for Impactt in a position to succeed in delivering service to our clients that builds long-term relationships and creates real, tangible change for workers in supply chain around the globe.
I would like to invite you to embrace this next chapter of the business and continue to support Impactt and its employees to see what amazing things we are capable of together.
Best wishes,
Rosey Hurst
