About the Role
We are looking for a Commercial Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth execution of commercial activities, helping the business operate more efficiently. The Commercial co-ordinator will act as a vital support system for the commercial team, allowing senior members to focus on strategic goals, while at the same time contributing to our mission of making what is good for a worker, work for business.
What you will do:
Sales and Client Support
- Manage and track proposal follow-ups, ensuring timely responses and alignment with client expectations. Keep detailed records of proposal statuses, deadlines, and feedback.
- Coordinate closely with consultants to meet submission timelines and deliver necessary updates.
- Monitor client responses, follow through on action items, and provide regular updates to the commercial team to sustain momentum and capitalize on opportunities.
- Provide administrative support for client accounts to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare, process, and review proposals and contracts as required.
- Act as a key client liaison, addressing inquiries and escalating issues where appropriate.
Coordination and Communication
- Schedule and organise meetings, appointments, and events related to commercial activities.
- Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Data Management and Reporting
- Track and analyse sales performance, delivering regular reports to the commercial team to inform decision-making.
- Maintain and manage customer databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR.
Business Development Support
- Conduct research on potential business opportunities and emerging market trends to support strategic planning.
- Assist in creating compelling presentations and proposals for prospective and existing clients.
Operational and Compliance Support
- Support procurement activities and supplier relationships to align with business needs.
- Ensure contracts, agreements, and policies comply with company and legal standards.
What we are looking for
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with data management platforms.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Prior experience in a similar role, such as commercial operations, sales coordination, or project management.
- An understanding of business and human rights practices, with a passion for creating positive social impacts.
