About the role
We`re seeking a high-calibre, highly experienced Head of Technical Capability and Development to lead, shape and define the ‘magic’ of the Impactt way of project delivery across the Company (how do we do what we do). Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Senior Leadership team, this role will ensure that International and UK project delivery teams are able to deliver work at a consistently high standard enabling clients to be familiar with what we mean by the Impactt Way.
This role would bests suit an Individual who has extensive experience in delivering sustainable sourcing and ethical trade services that are the best in class and deliver the best quantifiable outcomes for workers, including areas of technical expertise encompassing delivery in the field, process and presentation of work and the provision of technical advice to clients.
The successful candidate will have seen-it-all and bought the t-shirt and will not only be able to work collaboratively with commercial teams to ensure we have the right skills to service current and future business needs and proactively respond to market demands but will also know what works, what doesn`t and can create a long-term vision and execute it all while maintaining the highest levels of quality, ownership and responsibility across all team output.
You`ll be directly accountable for:
- Defining principles for how Impactt makes, measures and demonstrates change and impact
- Creating organisation wide project operating principles that provide sufficient guidance to ensure consistency as well as allowing for flexibility and adaptability to international contexts
- Developing and continuously improving a core capability / technical competency framework in conjunction with Operational Heads and HR to identify and classify the balance between generalist, specialists and core knowledge
- Developing and driving through a knowledge management system
What’s on Offer
The successful candidate for this role based in London will receive a salary of £60,000 – £70,000 dependent on experience, as well as a competitive benefits package.

About the role
We are looking for an Office Manager to work closely with our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Global Office Managers, UK and International Project and Business support teams to provide essential administrative and logistical support, ensure the smooth running of the UK office on a day-to-day basis and to support our company operations by maintaining office systems and services, operations and procedures.
This role would best suit an individual who enjoys being part of a team. You must be self-motivated and capable of providing support to the various duties and functions that operate within the office. This role is highly autonomous where no two days will be the same and you will be able to really make this role your own. You will thrive off being the ‘go-to’ person in the office, meeting and greeting clients, as well as answering the phone in a professional and confident manner.
You will also take control of running the office, ordering all stock and stationary, organising company events and assisting the team with expenses, booking international travel, as well as supporting the SLT . You will be a key figure within the business and be able to take ownership of all tasks in hand.
The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a similar role or office-based, secretarial or customer-facing role, ideally in a small to medium sized professional services business. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience working with and supporting senior managers. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, have advanced IT skills especially with Microsoft Office applications and be able to work in a busy and highly pressured environment and love being the lynch pin of a successful and ambitious company. Some HR management experience would be advantageous.
